Plot types that are not location-dependent, such as boring logs, Stiff diagrams and Piper diagrams, may be created with no associated DT_COORDINATE record. Other plot types require a DT_COORDINATE value with a legitimate X and Y coordinate.
EnviroInsite determines the coordinate system recorded in the DT_COORDINATES table based on the value in the EQuIS data fields DT_FACILITY.COORD_TYPE and the associated record in RT_COORD_TYPE.SRID.
•An SRID value of 4326 in RT_COORD_TYPE.SRID indicates that the coordinate values are in latitude-longitude coordinates. In that case, the display coordinates will be in UTM, within the UTM zone at the center of the extent of the location positions.
•SRID values starting with 326 are presumed to indicate UTM coordinates within the northern hemisphere. SRID values starting with 327 are presumed to indicate UTM coordinates within the southern hemisphere. The final two digits in either of these cases are taken to be the UTM longitudinal zone. For example, an SRID value of 32617 would represent UTM longitudinal zone 17 in the northern hemisphere. State plane coordinates are not supported at this time.
•Other SRID values for MTM, State Plane or Spherical Mercator coordinates are not presently supported.

EnviroInsite treats lithology data as being derived from either borehole-scale inspection at a single location, or regional-scale observations representative of stratigraphic units. The latter, referred to as stratigraphy, may be used to generate geologic models in both 3D and on cross-sections. The former, referred to as geology, are not used within EnviroInsite to interpolate between boreholes. The stratigraphy values are required to conform to a layer-cake representation, although pinch-outs and missing units are handled within EnviroInsite.

This table contains information regarding water level collection data. The fields to be populated are determined based on the selected option in the Data Mapping tab of the EQuIS options dialog box within EnviroInsite. If the DT_WATER_LEVEL.WATER_LEVEL_ELEV option is selected, WATER_LEVEL_ELEV and DEPTH_UNIT should be populated. If DT_WATER_LEVEL.CORRECTED_ELEVATION is selected, CORRECTED_ELEVATION and DEPTH_UNIT should be populated. If Calculate Elevation is the selected option, there are additional dependencies of the fields to be populated on the selected reference elevation (either DT_WATER_LEVEL.HISTORICAL_REFERENCE_ELEV, DT_MEASURE_DATUM.DATUM_VALUE, VW_LOCATION.SURF_ELEV, OR DT_WELL.TOP_CASING_ELEV) and the selected depth field (calculated based on product density, DT_WATER_LEVEL.CORRECTED_DEPTH or DT_WATER_LEVEL.WATER_LEVEL_DEPTH).

The DT_WELL_SEGMENT table will be used to specify the elevation horizon of sample intervals for sample matrix values designated as such in the EQuIS Options dialog box. For example, when repeat samples are collected from the same interval (e.g. well screens), it may not be advisable to use the depth fields in DT_SAMPLE. In those cases, the sample intervals would be a record in the DT_WELL_SEGMENT table. The option to use DT_WELL_SEGMENT for the sample interval is selected by the EnviroInsite user as described in the Sample Interval Horizon Tab section of the EQuIS Options dialog box.
