Live File Processor Agent Settings

The processor / file type settings must be defined in the ST_CONFIG table, one setting per row.

Column Name

Value

CONFIG_SECTION

Live.FileProcessor

CONFIG_KEY

Anything (e.g., Agent, or the client or facility name).

OBJECT_TYPE

The processor / file type's name (e.g., HOBO, In-Situ-5, or Lorentz).

OBJECT_VALUE

The setting name (e.g., dateTimeFormats).

STRING_VALUE

The setting value (e.g., en-AU).

Example: The ST_CONFIG table rows listed here (with CONFIG_SECTION = 'Live.FileProcessor', CONFIG_KEY = 'Agent', and OBJECT_TYPE = 'HOBO') define the HOBO processor/file type settings for an instance ('Agent') of this agent.

Notes:

The widget or json2db command line option (e.g., json2db HOBO) can be used to add the EarthSoft.Live.FileProcessor.config.json file (example) settings to the ST_CONFIG table, and then the ST_CONFIG table can be updated using EQuIS Professional (e.g., add a folderWatcherPath STRING_VALUE for HOBO).

A setting can be defined (in the ST_CONFIG table) for all processors (e.g., OBJECT_TYPE = 'Default', OBJECT_VALUE = 'dateTimeFormats') or for one specific processor (e.g., OBJECT_TYPE = 'HOBO', OBJECT_VALUE = 'dateTimeFormats').

If there is not a HOBO dateTimeFormats, this agent will use the Default (in the ST_CONFIG table) dateTimeFormats.

If there is not a Default (in the ST_CONFIG table) dateTimeFormats, this agent will use the default (hard coded) dateTimeFormats value, specified in the links below (or empty/not used if a default value is not specified).
