Flow Statistics

Report Name: Flow Statistics (example)

File Name: EarthSoft.Reports.Library.178519.dll

Dependencies: This report does not have any dependencies.

Software: EQuIS Professional and EQuIS Enterprise

Source: EQuIS Professional install

Language: English

Output Type: Report Grid1

Description: The Flow Statistics Report presents the statistics of DT_FLOW that meet users’ selected parameters. When action level parameters are selected, the report examines the statistical values of instant_flow, average_flow or cumulative_flow with the selected action levels and flags a value if it breaks an action level value.

Installation Instructions: This report assembly is part of the EQuIS Professional installation. No additional installation steps are necessary.

Overview:

Statistical Calculation:

1.First, select a field of DT_FLOW to be calculated in the Statistics\Flow Type: parameter.

2.Second, select the Statistics\Aggregate By parameter as explained below.

a.When Statistics\Aggregate By is Year, the statistical values are calculated for each group of facility_id, sys_loc_code, flow_unit and the year of the measurement_start_date.

b.When Statistics\Aggregate By is Month, the statistical values are calculated for each group of facility_id, sys_loc_code, flow_unit and the year-month of the measurement_start_date.

c.When Statistics\Aggregate By is All, the statistical values are calculated for each group of facility_id, sys_loc_code, flow_unit and the (minimum – maximum) of the measurement_start_date.

Action level and violation:

Naming convention and the logic on linking action_level to flow measurement:

1.DT_ACTION_LEVEL_PARAMETER.PARAM_CODE must start with instant_, average_ or cumulative_ in order to link an action level to instant_flow, average_flow or cumulative_flow respectively.
Warning: The report will ignore action level information if a selected action level code with the DT_ACTION_LEVEL_PARAMETER.PARAM_CODE of no prefix instant_, average_ or cumulative_.

2.The final field name of an action level of DT_ACTION_LEVEL_PARAMETER in the report result is constructed with PARAM_CODE_ACTION_LEVEL_CODE.

3.The final field name of flagging an action level is constructed with param_code_action_level_code_flag.

4.If a value of the Flow Unit parameter is selected, the report will do a unit conversion for an action level from DT_ACTION_LEVEL_PARAMETER.UNIT to the flow unit.

5.Action level violation or flagging exceedances: when an instant_flow, average_flow or cumulative_flow exceeds the action_level value of its param_code, the value of the param_code_action_level_code_flag is populated with x.

Data Requirements: For general output, DT_FLOW must be populated. For action level output, DT_ACTION_LEVEL_PARAMETER.PARAM_CODE must start with instant_, average_ or cumulative_ in order to link an action level to instant_flow, average_flow or cumulative_flow respectively.
