EIAs, or EQuIS Information Agents, are automated processes setup in Enterprise that run reports and create notices based on a pre-defined set of triggers, and then send reports and notices through the web (e.g., Notices Widget, email).  The EQuIS Information Agents Enterprise chapter also offers more details about EIAs.
