XY charts can be exported to image or Excel files. Once an XY Chart has been created, it can be exported via any of the methods explained below.
From Chart Toolbar, select File > Export: Exports all the charts to a user-selected folder as image files.
Notes: •Users can select a different folder name and/or different image type to save all the charts. XY Chart automatically names all the charts with chart names. •The image type .svg can be opened and edited by the Windows Paint tool or inserted into Word (Office 2013). |
•File > Send To > Outlook: Exports the active chart to a jpg image file and opens the message editing window of outlook.exe (if installed) with the image file attached.
•File > Send To > Excel: Exports the active chart to an Excel file.
Note: Only some of the properties of the charts Scatter, Line, Pie, Column and StackedLineVerticalSeparation type can be converted from XY Chart to Excel. Additionally, data point labels and added titles and footers are not supported in Excel exports, but are included in image file exports. Users are welcome to make a feature request if chart property needs to be converted. |
•File > Send To > My Charts: Exports the active chart as an image file to an auto-generated folder, and then opens the folder.
From Quick Tool Buttons in Chart Toolbar:
•Send the current chart to an email: Exports the active chart to a jpg image file and opens the message editing window of outlook.exe (if installed) with the image file attached.
•Send To Excel: Exports all the charts to a user-selected folder as image files.
•Send To My Charts: Exports all the charts as image files to a user-selected folder.
•Print: Exports all the charts as image files to the newly created ... \My EQuIS Work\...\ (Chartsyyyy-MM-dd hhmmss) folder, and opens the files with a default picture viewer associated to the image type so that users can print them after reviewing.
From Chart Editor, Save; Copy chart can be used.
To view the raw data in the Excel chart export, right-click on a worksheet tab and choose Unhide from the context menu; click a worksheet from the list of the hidden "Data" worksheets to unhide it.
